Hair & Makeup Designer

My career has spanned over three decades and has included a variety of creative positions.

A large proportion of my work has been in Period Drama which has enabled me to utilise my period hair and wig knowledge. During my five years freelancing on BBC's Casualty, I expanded my SFX skills and following on from this furthered my training with Neill Gorton's Award winning SFX Creature Design Studio.  

My skillset has afforded me interesting international experiences, including being one of the first Designer to ever work on a feature film in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

Several times a year I freelance as  a wig tutor for Peter Swords King on his internationally renowned Television & Film Hair/Makeup Course.  

My time tutoring affords me the opportunity to maintain high standards of  training within the industry and allows me to introduce skilled UK and internationally based trainees to productions.
